Job Title: Contract Manager – Roofing
Location: Redditch

Salary: £50,000 + Fuel Allowance or Company Van

The Role
We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to oversee a roofing contract in the Redditch area. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in roofing repairs and new roof installations. You’ll manage site teams, subcontractors, costs, compliance, and client relationships to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of works.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage roofing contracts, including repairs and new installations.
• Survey works, review drawings, and assess site conditions (asbestos and dilapidation).
• Lead site teams and subcontractors to ensure productivity and quality.
• Act as the main point of contact for the local authority client.
• Monitor and adjust project schedules and resources.
• Oversee materials, waste, and plant hire.
• Ensure quality control and close out snags before completion.
• Manage health & safety, including RAMS, inductions, and site inspections.
• Handle site reporting, photos, diaries, and handover documentation.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Contract Manager or Senior Site Manager in the roofing industry.
• Experience in roofing repairs and new installations.
• Strong background working with local authorities.
• Solid commercial awareness (cost control, variations, subcontractors).
• Excellent health & safety knowledge.
• Strong client-facing communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• SMSTS (desirable).
